Jamie Lynn Parker age 47, of Crandall, GA, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025. Jamie was born in Dalton, GA, on November 24, 1977, the daughter of Martha and Donnie Arrington. She graduated from Southeast High School where she enjoyed being a member of the chorus. Also, she loved gardening, the beach, mountains, birthday parties, and giving all the grandkids a ride in her electric wheelchair. Needless to say, she always had a good sense of humor. Jamie worked as a dental assistant for many years and prior to her health declining at Cohutta Spring. Jamie was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Arrington; two brothers-in-law, Dwayne Coker and Adams Rogers; and a nephew, Caleb Smith. Survivors include her husband, Jason Parker; daughter, Lyric Verner (Patrick); step-sons, Callum and Jason Speck; step-daughter, Isabella Parker; grandchildren, Ollie, Thea, Raelynn, Kayden, and future grandson, Forest; mother, Martha Lamp (James); sisters, Ann Coker, Amanda Quarles (Jason), and April Arrington (Daniel Dunn); step-brothers, James Lamp, Jr. (Nicole) and Alan Lamp (Danielle); mother-in-law and father-in-law, June and Troy Parker; sister-in-law, Jennifer Rogers; brother-in-law, Josh Parker (Amiee); and a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Josh James officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery.
