Janet Minnie Parker, age 69, of Austell, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was born on May 29, 1949 in Montacello, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Thelma Pratt. She is survived by her husband, Harold Mack Parker of Austell, GA; daughters and son in law, Lea Stuart of Flowery Branch, GA, Katherine and Bradley Paul of Newnan, GA; brothers and sisters in law, Doug and Phillis Pratt of Knoxville, TN, Tommy and Kay Pratt of Resaca, GA; grandchildren, Kelly Stuart, Landon Stuart, Alexis Paul and Parker Paul; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Janet Minnie Parker will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 4, 2018 at The Church of God of the Union Assembly in Dalton GA, with Bro. Charlie Bell, Bro. Charlie Pratt and Bro. Scott Rice officiating. Interment will be at Spring Place Community Cemetery, Chatsworth, Georgia.. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home, and she will lay in state at 10:00 AM at the church prior to the funeral on Thursday.
