Janice Dianne Faulknor was a devout Christian and faithful believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. She cherished above all her faith and walk with God. In following those biblical principles, Janice was a devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to all of her family. She hated being called “Granny Jan.”
Janice served faithfully as a lifelong member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly. From a child, her love of music was expressed through a beautiful vibrato voice, singing, and playing the piano for the Lord in various groups throughout her life. She enjoyed singing in her home and church with her family.
Janice was a friend for life, a counselor, an acclaimed critic, mentor, and rock. With Janice, what you see is what you get. These are just a few words to describe her. Through a smile, word of encouragement, word of other type (you have to know Janice), she was still an example of serving the Lord.
To the end she believed, departing this life and dying in the faith of the Church of God of the Union Assembly.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM from the Church of God of the Union Assembly. Janice will lie-in state at the church from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 21, 2026 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Church of God of Union Assembly.
