Janice Marie Smith, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018. She was born on May 16, 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Kenyard Smith; parents, Aurthur and Lissie Beavers; brother, Lamar Beavers; sisters, Norma Jean Butchfield, Linda Sue West and Willina Stone. She is survived by her daughters, Angelia Bradley (Mario Cisneros), Amy Hopper (Shane); brothers, Michael Beavers (Tammy), Junior Beavers, Paul Beavers, Greg Beavers; sisters, Wanda Southern (Willard), Rosie Maddox (Carl), Betty Watts (Jimmy), Barbara Bryant (Jerry Wayne), Patsy Beavers; grandchildren, Lashae Henson (Hank), Amber Bradley, Tyler Bradley, Chamy Bishop (Allen), Kaley Hill, Ian Hill, Avery Hopper, Bryson Hopper, Olyvia Hopper; great grandsons, Owen McCraven, Kylan Stapp; and best friend, Rhonda Killian. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Janice Marie Smith will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 27, 2018 at North Whitfield Baptist Church with Pastor J. T. Sanders and Major Douglas McClure officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Hopper, Mario Cisneros, Avery Hopper, Bryson Hopper, Tyler Bradley, Ian Hill, Josh McCraven, Hank Henson and Allen Bishop.
