Janie Pauline Earwood, age 82, Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022. She was born on April 24, 1940 in Trion, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jackie Earwood; parents, Lester and Clida "Jones" Wilson; brothers, Jessie Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, Billy Wilson; sisters, Elizabeth Tipton, Vivian White; sister and brother in-law, Dean and Max Adcox of Adairsville, GA. She is survived by her sons, Jackie Ray Jr, and Tammie Earwood of Rydal, GA., Jason and Cortney Earwood of Dalton; daughters, Rhonda and James Tucker of Dalton, Darlene and Kenneth Miles of Dalton, Diane and Charlie Tanner of Rome, GA.; sister, Emma Lee and Hubert Langley of Dalton; brothers and sister in-laws, Danny and Lola Earwood of Dalton, Ellis and Brenda Earwood of Resaca, Larry and Dale Earwood of Dalton; sisters and brother in law, Jaynell and Ralph Mathis of Adairsville, Pat Prater; fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Janie Pauline Earwood will be held in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Stoney Kiser will be officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, October 29, 2022.
