Jeanette "Sally" Neal, age 97, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. She was born July 27, 1926. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herman F. Neal; parents, William J. and Nettie "Shehan" Locke; brothers, Beecher Locke, Jeff Locke, Verlin Locke, Winston Locke, David Locke, Richard Locke; sisters, Kate Brindle, Etheleen Barnes, Essie Jones, Betty Staten, Dixie England, Louise Lingerfelt, Bessie Bradley. She is survived by her, sons, Steve D. (Linda) Neal, Fred (Pat J.) Neal; daughter, Judy (Cecil) Cooper; grandchildren, Douglas Neal, Scott Neal, Dustin Neal, Josh Neal, Zac Cooper, Jacob Cooper,Tracy Neal; several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jeanette "Sally" Neal will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Perry Smith officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
