Mrs. Jeanette Welch, age 73, of Dalton, GA. passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023. She was born on December 21, 1949. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Clinton Welch; parents, Gus and Mattie Bell "Taylor" Sexton; brothers, Randall Sexton and Albert Sexton; and sisters, Dorothy Manis, Mattie Bell Taylor Sexton. She is survived by her sons, Carl Dean Welch, Mark Welch (Toni), and Kenneth Welch (Cat Sexton); daughter, Tanya Welch; brother, Maulya Sexton; sisters, Marthy Welch and Mable Sexton; grandchildren, Ashley Moore (Elvis Seal), Felecia Welch (Adam Fosselman), Julie Welch, Selena Watson, Tiffany Baker (Thomas), Ethan Arnold, Clint Welch, and Eliza Welch; and great-grandchildren, Shelby Weaver, Nevaeh Ogle, Mya Rose, Liam Bishop, Andrew Baker, Brooklyn King, and Braxton King. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jeanette Welch will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 1, 2023, in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny West officiating. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Dalton Funeral Home.
