Jeffrey Allen Hudson, 65, of Dalton, Georgia, went home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, March 7, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was born November 5, 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Lee and Janet McMahon Hudson; sister and brother in-law, Lisa and Lonnie Mangler; sister, Lori Vanderpass. Jeff had a deep love for sports, watching his children & grandchildren play football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, lacrosse and archery. He loved watching GA football, and before his illnesses, he loved playing golf with friends. He cherished spending time with his family, making lasting memories through shared laughter, stories, and adventures. His presence brought warmth and happiness to every gathering. Jeff's passion and love for his family will be dearly missed. His legacy of love, faith, and joy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Jeff also served in the United States Army as a sergeant for many years. He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Hudson; son, Sean and Lea Hudson of Tunnel Hill; daughters, April and Daniel Clark of Cohutta, Amanda Young and Lionell Hill of Adairsville, Jennifer and Seth Quinn of Cohutta; brother, Mark and Linda Hudson of Milan, IL.; sister, Kimberlee and Rick Cole of Illinois City, IL.; grandchildren, Hunter Clark, Connor Hudson, Sager Quinn, Eli Case Shropshire, Austin and Ian Shropshire, Alayna Gossett; special nephews, Bryan and Liza Swain of Pullallup, WA., Mack Mangler of Enderline, N.D. Keith Swain; special niece, Megan and Nathan Cimbura of Enderline, N.D. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jeff Hudson will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Burns officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Dalton Funeral Home.
