Jeffie Lou Ratcliff, age 93, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, October 26, 2015. She was born on December 7, 1921. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Ratcliff; sons, Benny Ratcliff and Ronnie Ratcliff; a daughter, Barbara Bartley; parents, George and Hettie Lowery; brothers, Cle Lowery and Frank Lowery; and grandchildren, Debbie Elrod and Edwin Bartley. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Gordon and Jemyrr Ratcliff of Villanow; daughters and son in law, Sharon Elrod of Dalton, Sandra Thornton of Dalton, Brenda Henson Orr and Terry Orr of Chattanooga; sister, Odell Baggett of Chatsworth; 18 grandchildren; and several great and great great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jeffie Lou Ratcliff will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Billy Starks officiating. Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Wednesday evening.
