Jerry Lee Coffey, age 57, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was born on May 11, 1961. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.M. and Pauline Coffey. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Coffey of Dalton; sons, John Coffey (Alex) of Dalton, Eric Coffey (Shannon) of Dalton; daughter, Samantha Hunter of Dalton; brothers, Joe Coffey of Lafayette, Wendell Coffey of Calhoun, Johnny Coffey (Frances) of Chatsworth; sisters, Helen Green of Chatsworth, Wanda Ballew (Steve) of Calhoun, Ann Gordon (Carmel) of Calhoun; grandchildren, Tessa, Gracie and Landon Coffey, Maylsha, Shamyla, Khalia, Bella, Brynda, Ariania, Aidan, Christian, Josh, Chris, and Auggie. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jerry Lee Coffey will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor David Eaton officiating. The family will be reviving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Interment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Eliijay.
