Jerry Lamar Fowler, age 46, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, September 24, 2018. He was born on November 10, 1971. Jerry was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Emily Brown Whaley and Thomas Lester Whaley; paternal grandparents, Barbara Glass Vaughn and Frank Fowler; and a cousin, Ryan Acree. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Fowler of Dalton; parents, David and Janet Fowler of Dalton; sons, Houston, Jacob, Gavin and Brayden; daughters, Hannah and Alyssa; stepsons, Leland and Aiden; sister, Kimberly Fowler Heard of Tunnel Hill; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jerry Lamar Fowler will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Marty Greene officiating. Interment will be at United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Wednesday evening.
