Mr. Jerry Wayne Jones, age 63, of Chatsworth, Georgia was born on July 6, 1953 and departed this life on October 13, 2016. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Harmon; father, Wayne Jones; brothers, Terry Jones, Billy Jones and Bobby Ray Jones; sisters, Barbara Faye Jenkins and Teresa Glover. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, JoAnn Jones of Chatsworth, GA, and a very special stepmother, Mary Rose Jones of Dalton, GA; daughters, Michell and Jessica Jones; son, Taylor Jones all of Rome, GA. Mr. Jones is also survived by many siblings and in-laws; sister, Linda Joyce and Robert Fowler; brother, Jimmy and Felicia Jones of Calhoun, GA; sister, Janice and Rowdy Stephens of Chatsworth, GA; brother, Darrell Wayne and Debbie Jones; sister, Kay and Mac Glover; sister, Karen and late Buddy Handley all of Dalton, GA; sister, Brenda and Daniel Rhodes; brother, David and Gladys Tackett of Resaca; brother, Leon Tackett and late wife Janis Tackett of Colorado; brothers, Ricky Jones, Christopher and Ida Castillo and Nicholas and Amelia Esparzo of Texas. Mr. Jones also has many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews along with many many more friends and family members. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jerry Wayne Jones will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Wendell Stover officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
