Jerry Lamar Fowler, 58 of Dalton GA departed this life on April 30, 2018, Jerry was born in Dalton GA to the late William and Mary Dell Jackson Fowler, Jerry was employed with Shaw for 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Holsomback Fowler; sons and daughters in law, John and Michelle Fowler, Tunnell Hill, GA, Jeremy and Julia Fowler, Chickamauga, GA; daughter, Mandie Holsomback, Resaca, GA ; Brothers and sisters in law, Billy and Cindy Fowler, Ringgold, GA, Greg Fowler, Cohutta, GA, Roger and Sheila Fowler, Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brothers in law, Brenda and Randy Brooks, Dalton GA,  and Rhonda and James Harrison,Dalton GA; 6 grandchildren.  A service to celebrate the life of Jerry will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the McFarland Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Rogers officiating.   Jerry will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  The family has entrusted Dalton Funeral Home with the final arrangements.
