Mr. Jerry Lands, age 74, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. He was born on August 28, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Ruth "Cloer" Lands; wives, Earlene "Lee" Lands, Rethel "Allen" Lands, and Bertie "Seritt" Lands; brothers, Mark and Andrew Lands; sisters, Marilyn Joyce, Diane Bell, Linda Bowen, and Tommie Lee Lands. He is survived by his sons, Rodney Lands, Clint Putnam, Chris and Shana Putnam; daughters, Vickie and Glenn Stephens, Sandra Owens; brother, James Lands; grandchildren, Brett Stephens, Erin Stephens, Drew Owens, Nick Owens, Hannah Lands, Emily Lands, Blaze Putnam; and 13 step-grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jerry Lands will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Jackie Ellington officiating. Interment will be at Hot House Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
