Rev. Jerry Clay Tallent, age 75, of Chatsworth, Georgia departed this life on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. He was born January 28, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Maudie Tallent; brothers, Elbert, Larry, Daniel and Ronnie Tallent; sister, Donna Kay Frady. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Mark Davis of Chatsworth, GA; Lisa and Danny Ensley of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, George Tallent of Chatsworth, GA; Rev. Ricky and Reba Tallent of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, John Taylor Gwin, Amber Gwin, Daniel Ensley, Dylan Ensley and Kristain Ensley; great grandchildren, Gunner Gwin and Titan Gwin; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rev. Jerry Clay Tallent will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, February 19, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Timms officiating. Interment will be at Center Valley Cemetery in Chatsworth GA. The family will be receiving friends for visitation 5PM- 8Pm Thursday, February 18, 2021.
