Jessie William Higgins, age 70, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016. He was born on July 23, 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ruban Higgins and Olive Ruth Dempsey Higgins; brother, Ronnie Higgins; sisters, Barbara Taylor, Betty Brown and  Thelma Elder. He is survived by his brother and sister in law, David and Judy Higgins of Chatsworth. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jessie William Higgins will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Lee's Chapel with Bro. William Taylor and Bro. Jimmy Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Lee's Chapel Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-9 PM on Friday evening at the funeral home, and he will lay in state at the church from 12-1 PM on Saturday.
