Jim C. Adams, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017. He was born on July 4, 1931. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Bryant Adams; son, Ronald Adams; parents, John Adams and Ruth Shelton Adams; brother, William Adams; sisters, Cindy Adams and Doris Bailey. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Steve and Carol Adams of Dalton; brother, Ricky Adams of Adairsville; sister and brother in law, Linda and James Lawson of Walker County; and a grandson, Matthew Adams. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jim C. Adams will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery.
