Jimmy Edward Bryson age 59, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Jimmy was born in Dalton, GA, on July 10, 1965, the son of James Bryson and Janie Townsend. He was an avid GA Bulldog and Nascar fan. Jimmy enjoyed camping and riding motorcycles. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Jimmy was preceded in death by his step-mother, Shirley Bryson. In addition to his parents, survivors include his daughter, Brooke Bryson (Joey); three grandchildren, HannaShaye Crumley, Everly Crumley, and Jameson Crumley; sister, Anita "Cricket" Dockery; brother, Michael Tyree; two nephews, Scott Prather (Kimberly) and Blake Mooney (Heather); great-niece, Kamryn Prather; and two great-nephews, Aaron Prather and Parker Mooney. A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 1:00 P.M., Chapel of the Dalton Funeral Home with David Owens and Johnny West officiating. Interment will follow at Deep Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Dalton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations be made for the funeral expense.
