Jimmy Lester Gallman, age 77, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. He was born on October 19, 1939. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Mary Gallman; brothers, Willie Gallman and Robert Gallman; and sister, Ida Mae Gallman. He is survived by his wife, Janis Gallman of Dalton; daughter, Lisa Griffin of Atlanta; brother and sister in law, Johnny and Paulette Gallman of Chatsworth; sisters, Mary Ruth Bruce of Decatur, Pauline Long of Powder Springs; grandson, Zachery Griffin. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jimmy Lester Gallman will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Herman Ledbetter officiating. Interment will be at New Hope Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM on Monday evening and 9-11 AM on Tuesday morning.
