It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Jimmy Dale Trammell, a beloved husband, devoted father and grandfather, and cherished member of his church, The Encountering. Born on December 7, 1957, in Cedar Bluff, Alabama, Jimmy's journey through life was marked by his steadfast dedication as a truck driver and his unwavering love for his family.
Jimmy left this world peacefully at his residence on June 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy full of love, resilience, and warmth. Known for being an awesome husband and a hard worker, he was not only admired for his commitment to the Lord, his career but also treasured for his loving and caring nature. His passion for fishing was matched only by the deep affection he held for his family, especially his two great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his later years.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Yvonne Trammell, who shared a life of companionship and partnership with him. His sons, Jimmy Trammell, Brandon Trammell, Blane (Amber) Parton, and Kristopher Parton along with his grandchildren, Blake (Heaven) Parton, Kylie Jo Parton, Destinie Parton, and Dominc Parton, continue to carry the light of his spirit. His great-grandchildren, Willow Parton and River Parton, were a special source of happiness for Jimmy. Additionally, his brothers, Billy (Vickie) Trammell and Donald (Geraldine) Trammell remain pillars of family strength and support, the family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Gina Pruitt, Leslie Roberts.
Jimmy's memory also honors those who passed before him, including his father, James Trammell, mother, Jimmie Sue Trammell, daughter, Tiffany Nicole Annette Trammell, and brother, David Brewster. Their influence and love shaped the man Jimmy became and remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Jimmy’s life at The Encountering Inc in Dalton, Georgia. Visitation will be held on June 7, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM, at the church 106 Lucille Dr, Dalton, GA 30721.
Jimmy Dale Trammell’s life was a testament to devotion, to the Lord, to work, to family, and to love. As we say goodbye, we hold close the memories of an extraordinary man whose kindness and dedication touched us all. Though he is gone from our sight, he remains forever in our hearts, a beloved presence whose story will continue to inspire and uplift.
