Joan Burch, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Pruitt Health Nursing Home in Fort Oglethorpe. She was born on May 3, 1948. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna Burch; brother, Johnny Burch; grandparents, Walter and Mattie Pritchett, and Bill and Dessie Burch. She is survived by her children, Jeff Dyer, Crystal Dyer, Eric Dyer (Kim), Tambra Tucker (Shaun). And Ambra Burch; sisters, Judy Locke, Janice King (Lawrence), Susan Stone (Kevin); grandchildren, Isaac Dyer, Gage Dyer, Michael Tucker, Ella Tucker, Gabriel Tucker; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Joan Burch will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Rolen officiating.
