Joan Estelle Starks Peden age 77, of Cohutta, GA, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Joan was born in Dalton, GA, on November 10, 1947, the daughter of the late Joseph Wallace Starks and Elsie Earlene Williams Starks. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon G. Peden. Survivors include her son, Terry Peden; four siblings, Sherry Walls (Carlton), Betty Burnette, Gary Starks (Debbie), and Randy Starks; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., the Chapel of the Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be Monday at 10:00 A.M., United Memorial Gardens.
