Joan Price, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, March 5, 2021. She was born on April 21, 1950. Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Floyd "Terry" Anthony Price; parents, Sherman and Beulah Shoemaker; brother, Scott Shoemaker; and sister, Becky Lynch. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jason Price of Dalton, Jeremy and Renee Price of Ringgold, Josh and Michelle Price of Rocky Face; sisters, Wanda Guess of Tunnel Hill, Sherry Wimpy of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Colin and McKinzie Price, Cody Price, Chloe Price and Ashlyn Price; great granddaughter, Madelyn Price; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Joan Price will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Rod Walls officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation an hour prior to the service. A joint memorial service to celebrate Terry and Joan Price will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Christ Reformed Baptist Church (1378 Dug Gap Rd, Dalton, GA 30720).
