Jody Cartwright, age 43, of Crandall, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016. He was born on May 27, 1973. He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Cartwright; and grandmother, Ruby Bryson. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Cartwright of Crandall, GA; mother, Barbara Brewer of Waycross, GA; stepmother, Evelyn Cartwright of Mineral Bluff, GA; sons, Tyler Campbell of Crandall, GA and Zachary Campbell of Crandall, GA; daughters and son in law, Kaila Ray of Calhoun, GA, Brittney Wilcox of Dalton, GA, Ashley and John Barker of Beaverdale, GA; brothers, Josh Cartwright of Maryville, TN, Jamie Chadwick of Dalton, GA, Billy Weeks of Florida, Clyde Witt of Dahlonega, GA, Joe Witt of Mississippi; grandchildren, Eli Barker and Paisley Wilcox. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jody Cartwright will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Cooper officiating. Interment will be at Center Valley Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 Pm Thursday evening.
