Joe Grady Cleary, Jr  85  of Sugar Valley, Georgia departed this life on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born on August 8, 1930 in Whitfield County to the late Joe Grady Cleary, Sr. and Ramey Pritchett Cleary, he was also preceded in death by his son Paul David Cleary,  brothers, Donald Cleary, Roy Cleary, Charlie Cleary and a sister, Mary Frances Cleary. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Margaret Shaw Cleary; sons and daughter in law, , Michael Grady Cleary, Sugar Valley GA, Aaron and Tabby Cleary, PA;   daughters and sons in law, JoAnn Yeargin  , Dalton, Cindy and Steve Aycock, Sugar Valley. Tammy and Jimmy Bennett, Calhoun, Rachel and Rodney Doll, Calhoun, Tonya and Jack Jenkins, Calhoun; brothers and sisters in law, Bill Cleary , Trammel and Virginia Cleary, Robert and Linda Cleary, All of Dalton; sister Betty Parker, Rocky Face; 13 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Joe will be held on Saturday July 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at New Town Baptist Church with Brother Walter Hare officiating, he will lie in state one hour prior to the service, Joe  will be laid to rest at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday  July 8, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at New Town Baptist Church, 897 New Town Church Road Calhoun, Ga. Services has been entrusted to Locally owned Dalton Funeral Home.
