Mr. Joel Kristan Swanson, age 65, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025. He was born on January 23, 1960. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Swanson and Mary Lee Smith. He is survived by his son, Nathaniel Swanson of Colorado; grandchildren, Talan Swanson and Aubree Swanson; brother, Dee Swanson (Liz) of Chatsworth; aunts and uncles, Emmett and Bobbi Hogan, and Faye Swanson of Dawsonville; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Swanson (Bobby Johnson), Nikki Kintz, and Cody Kintz. A Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Joel Swanson will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, with Bro. Allen Ledford officiating.
