John Thomas Ballew age 59, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. John Ballew, born September 6, 1966, in Dalton, Georgia, was the beloved son of Verlon Ballew and Annette Rhodes Ballew. He dedicated many years of his life working as a mechanic with BDR Loopers, where his skill and determination earned him the reputation of being able to fix anything. John had a passion for working on vehicles and a gift for bringing laughter to those around him—he loved cutting jokes and sharing his humor with family and friends. He is survived by his parents; three daughters, Courtney Moore (Ben), Gracie Moore, and Bailey Holland (Ethan); his son, Evan Moore; seven cherished grandchildren; and his brother, Gary Ballew.
