John Lamar Beavers, age 53, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 30, 2015. He was born July 14, 1962. He was preceded in death by his parents, Authur and Lissie Beavers; sisters, Willena Stone, Linda West, and Norma Burthville. He is survived by his brothers and sisters in law, Paul Beavers of Lafayette, Jr. and Cindy Beavers of Dalton, Michael and Tammy Beavers of Calhoun, Greg and Susan Beavers of Dalton; sisters and brothers in law, Janice and Bobby Smith of Dalton, Barbara and Jerry Bryant of Tunnel Hill, Betty and Jimmy Watts of Dalton, Rosie and Carl Maddox of Dalton, Wanda and Willard Southern of Chatsworth, and Patsy Beavers of Dalton. A funeral service to celebrate the life of John Lamar Beavers will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Junior Williams officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM till the hour of service.
