John Knipp, age 52, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Friday, February 1, 2019. He was born on August 30, 1966. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Joe and Linda Knipp, nephew, Nekiea Scoggins; and niece Anita Wooden He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Atkins of Dalton; brothers and sisters in law, William Knipp of Chatsworth, David and Melissa Knipp of Chatsworth, Mark Knipp of Chatsworth, Kenny and Tabatha Knipp of Dalton; sisters and brother in law, Hazel Scoggins of Chatsworth, Anita and Ricky Roach of Chatsworth, Sherry Kitchen of TN; grandchildren, Emily Knipp, Lacey Nicole Atkins, Sebastian Nekiea Eller. A service to celebrate the life of John Knipp will be held at 8:00 PM Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.
