John McGlaughn, age 93, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, February 6, 2017. He was born on September 26, 1923. John was a Veteran and received a World War II Victory Medal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta McGlaughn; son, Albert McGlaughn; parents, Doc Wesley McGlaughn and Bealur McGlaughn; 12 brothers and sisters; and his niece, Gail Gaddis. He is survived by his Niece, Mandy Gaddis of Dalton; nephews, Roy Gaddis of Dalton and Henry McGlaughn of Alabama; sister, Beatsy Bertrum of Alabama; grandchildren, Jacob and Cory McGlauhn; and 3 great grandchildren. To celebrate the life of John McGlaughn there will be a graveside service with full military honors held at 12:30 PM on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
