John Bryan Presley, age 65 of Fairmount, GA passed away on Friday evening, September 6, 2013 at his home. Born on October 12, 1947, John was the son of the late Leon and Emma Pressley. He was married to the love of his life, Loretta for 25 years. John served in the US Army, and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Presley; daughters and a son-in-law, Amanda Baggett of Douglasville and Michelle and Kevin Collum of Calhoun; sons, Rodney Presley of Gainesville, Randy Presley of Martin, GA, and Rowdy Presley of Gainesville; a brother, Leon Presley of Dahlonega, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jetty Mincey of Canton, Peggy and Wayne Allen of Brasselton, GA, Mildred and Clyde McDaris of Dalton and Margaret Woodall of Gainesville; five grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Henry Pressley. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of John Presley will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Plainville, GA with Rev. Jerry Gaddis and Rev.
