John Anthony Taylor, age 72, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Monday, April 2, 2018. He was born on March 19, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Pearl Taylor; brothers, Paul Edward Taylor, Douglas Darrell Taylor, Charles William Taylor, Robert Lewis Taylor; sisters, Geraldine Taylor, Elizabeth Barrett, Ann Huff, Shirley Duckett and Dawn Taylor. He is survived by his daughters and son in law, Buffy Ann and Kenneth Gaddis of Kentucky, Serena Jones of Cohutta, Deborah Sue Crowley of Ringgold, Patricia Taylor; brothers, David Taylor of Houston, TX, Dennis Taylor of Cleveland, TN; sisters and brother ion law, Hazel and Robert Hottel, Sr. of Advance, NC, Sandra Veal of Cleveland, TN; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of John Anthony Taylor will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Levon Ivey officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery.
