Johnny Nichols, age 56, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019. He was born on December 29, 1962. Johnny was loved by his family and friends. He was a hard worker and loved anything to do with construction. He enjoyed working on cars and was a good mechanic. His family was proud of the man he had become. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vonda Nichols; father, Larkin Quiller "Nick" Nichols; brothers, Larry Nichols and Gary Nichols; and sister, Brenda Sue Nichols. He is survived by his son, Dewayne Nichols of Alabama; daughter, Daysha Nichols of Alabama; mother, Beatrice "Bea" Hampton; brothers and sister in law, James Nichols, Raymond and Lena Nichols; sisters, Barbara Rice, Marie Gibbons, Glenda Crowley, Alisa Drain; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Johnny Nichols will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.
