Jonell Lee Shoemaker, age 29, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014. She was born on June 30, 1984 in Dalton, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Catherine Shoemaker, and Dave and Nancy Patterson. She is survived by her sons, Timothy and Atticus Younes of Tunnel Hill; daughter, Katlyn Younes of Tunnel Hill; parents, James Shoemaker of Tunnel Hill , and Judi Lynn Gersitz of Elkhart, IN; companion, David Boyd of Tunnel Hill;  Brother and sister in law, Jamie and Heather Shoemaker of Tunnel Hill; several aunts and uncles. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jonell Lee Shoemaker will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Larry Morgan officiating. Brian Quarles, Mark Quarles, Rob Mathis, Jamie Shoemaker, Scott Cannon, and William Quarles will be serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Welcome Hill Cemetery.
