Joseph Albert DeSalvo, age 71, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014. He was born on March 28, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Frank and Mary DeSalvo. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his brothers, Albert DeSalvo and Dominic DeSalvo; sisters, Joana Mears and Virginia Kirmey. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Eloise DeSalvo of Tunnel Hill; sons and daughter in law, Dominic DeSalvo of Pompano Beach, FL, Michael and Dana Johnson of Davie, FL; daughters and sons in law, Maria and George Woods of Davie, FL, Kim and James Grantham of Davie, FL; brother, Frank DeSalvo of Davie, FL; sister, Kitty Broberg of West Palm, FL; 12 grandchildren; 3 brothers in law; 6 sisters in law; and 2 special nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Joseph Albert DeSalvo will be held at a later date in Florida.
