Joshua Paul Burns, age 32, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018. He was born on January 25, 1986. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry G. Burns. He is survived by his mother, Edna Burns of Dalton; brother, Gene Author Burns of Dalton; sisters and brother in law, Stephanie Michelle Burns of Dalton, Camilla and Don Webb of Dalton; special friend, Josh Howard of Dalton; uncles, Bill Burns, Ralph Burns; aunts, Ginger Tipton, Wilma & Benny Thompson; special aunt, Anna Fife; nieces and nephews, Kayla Dickinson, Brandy Dickinson, Noah Burns, Karah Powell, Brianna Powell, Kolby Powell; and several cousins. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Joshua Paul Burns will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, May 14, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
