Ms. Joyce Ann Rickett Baggett, age 82, of Chatsworth, Ga. passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026. She was born on May 28, 1944, in Summerville Ga.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Baggett; parents, Dallas and Bertha Rickett; sister, Sharon Shield; and brother, Larry Rickett. She was a very loving mom, grandmother, and friend. Joyce will always be loved and remembered. She enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jimmie Baliles; grandchildren, Thiala Mathis(Kevin) of Chatsworth, Sonny Stephenson (Hope), of Old Fort, TN., and John Penrod of Chatsworth; great-grandchildren, Dorian Mathis, Nikki Penrod, Celty Penrod; niece and best friend Kristy Shields of Tennga, GA.; nephews Jerom Shields, Stacy Shields, Brian Rickett, Dean Rickett, and Jeff Rickett; Niece, Gail Rickett; and very special friends, Pastor Craig and Samantha Marlow.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ms. Joyce Ann Rickett will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with pastor Craig Marlow officiating. Interment will be at Eton Cemetery
