Judy Geneva Green, age 65, of Crandall, Georgia passed away Friday, August 14, 2015. She was born January 27, 1950. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn and Willa Mae Witherow; and a sister, Marie Hayes. She is survived by her husband, Scotty Simmons of Crandall; brothers and sisters in law, Kenneth and Pat Witherow of Varnell, Charles and Linda Witherow of Chatsworth, Billy and Judy Witherow of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers in law, Joan and Ted Kendrick of Chatsworth, Charlotte and Marshal Smithey of Calhoun, Patsy and Richard Stafford of Crandall; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Judy Geneva Green will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Ryan Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM on Saturday evening.
