Julia Beatrice Nichols, age 86, of Chatsworth, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She was born February 25, 1937. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larkin Quiller (Nick) Nichols; parents, William C. Hampton and Julia "Adams" Hampton; sons, Larry Nichols, Johnny Nichols, Gary Nichols; daughter, Brenda Sue Nichols; brothers, David Hampton, James Hampton, Preston Hampton, William Hampton; sisters, Mary Lou Smith, Maggie Riddle, Frances Jones. She is survived by her sons, James Nichols of Chatsworth, Raymond Nichols of Chatsworth; daughters, Barabra Rice of Chatsworth, Marie Gibbons of Chatsworth, Glenda Crowley of Chatsworth, Alisa Drain of Whitwell, Tn.; sisters, Hazel Hampton, Barbara Spencer, Min Lau, Doris Hampton; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; twenty great-great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Julia Beatrice Nichols will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
