Karen Lee Lawter, age 58, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She was born on December 14, 1957. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kent and Leta Hynes. Karen is survived by her husband, Andrew Tim Lawter of Dalton; sons and daughter in law, Gregory Lentz of Illinois, Robert Clark of Dalton, Trey Tyler of Dalton, Tim and Candace Lawter of Dalton; daughters and son in law, Nicole Tyler of Dalton, Trish and Tyler Fauscette of Dalton, Samantha Lawter of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; brother, Kent Hynes of Battle Creek, MI; sister, Kathy Flemming of Battle Creek, MI; and 10 grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Karen Lee Lawter will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Alfred Turley officiating.
