Mrs. Kathy Elaine Boyd Elrod, age 69, of Chatsworth, Ga, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. She was born on February 26, 1957. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sadie Boyd; sisters, Virginia and Silvers (Bill), and Mary Ann Bryson (Bobby).

Kathy was a very peaceful lady, and she was the one the family would run to when they needed a shoulder to lean on. She will be missed.

Mrs. Elrod is survived by her husband, Gordon Elrod; nieces and nephews, Tammy Pangle (Berry), Monica Bryson, and Terry Silvers; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
