Ms. Kathy Jean Welch, age 62, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025. She was born on February 1, 1962. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Geraldine Morgan; brother Bobby Morgan; and sisters Judy Kenner and Charisten Fowler. She is survived by her sons, Brannon Welch (Keshia). Bryan Welch, and Matthew Collins (Jonnie); grandchildren, Scarlett, Sophia, Kyra, Cody, Betty, Heidi, and Brannon Jr. Ms. Welch has numerous great-grandchildren and Nieces and nephews; brothers, Tony Morgan, Ricky Morgan, Billy Morgan, Jackie Morgan, and Benny Morgan; sisters, Robin Heath, Sharon Ann Morgan, and Mary Hellen. Kathy loved decorating, drawing, and painting, most of all, she loved her Family. In lieu of Flowers the family would like to request donations to be made to Dalton Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ms. Welch will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Eton Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Dalton Funeral Home.
