Keith Long, age 51, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. He was born on February 3, 1965.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Paul and Bonnie Goforth-Tipton and Blaine and Trophie Weaver-Long. He is survived by his wife, April Denise Long of Calhoun; daughter and son-in-law, Haley Long Coleman and John Coleman of Petal Mississippi; step-children Kathryn, George, Gracie and Bella Russell of Calhoun; parents, Doyle and Oneita Long of Morganton, GA; sisters and brother in law, Jerry and Karen Long Joyce of Dalton and Kay Long Crook of Dalton; grandson, John Reid Coleman of Petal Mississippi. Keith loved spending time with his family, woodworking, photography, playing the guitar, singing and hunting. A service to celebrate the life of Keith Long will be held at 4:00 PM, January 24, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Baker officiating. Pallbearers are Ray Malone, Edwin Blansit, Eric Sexton, Coy Ward, Kris Lumpkin and CJ Joyce.  The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00PM until 9:00PM on January 23, 2017.  Interment will be at  Stockhill Cemetary.  Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S.
