Kelly Maxine Griggs Plumley, age 49, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. She was born on February 3, 1967. Kelly was preceded in death by her sister, Tammie Johnson; brother in law, James D. Plumley. She is survived by her husband, Tim Plumley of Dalton; parents, Herbert and Joan Griggs of Dalton; son and daughter in law, T.J. and Emily Plumley; daughter, Autumn Plumley; grandchild, Veda Plumley; brothers and sister in law, Steve Griggs, Tony and Wanda Griggs, Patrick and Crystal Griggs; in laws, Richard and Ruth Plumley, Betty Hamrick and Wallace Lackey; sisters in law and brothers in law, Melissa Plumley Shelton and Kevin Shelton, Elisa Plumley Baggett and Freddie Baggett, JR; niece and nephews, Courtney Patterson, Peyton Shelton, Jonathan Baggett, Daniel Baggett and Ryan Baggett; special care giver, Amy Palmer; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Kelly Maxine Griggs Plumley will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 13, 2016 with Bro. Gordon Delashmitt officiating. Interment will be at Mineral Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
