Kelly Wayne Saylor, age 45, of Broodhead, Kenucky passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He has been a resident of Dalton, Georgia since 1993. Mr. Saylor was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Irene Saylor; brothers, Keith Edwards Carpenter and Lonnie Clinton Carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Saylor, as well as his 4 loving children, Garrett Saylor, Mackenzie Saylor and partner Emmanuel Jacobo, Matthew Petty, and Jorden Petty; his father, Rant Saylor of Broodhead, KY, step mother, Joyce Saylor of Broodhead, KY; grandchildren, Roslyn and Knox; brothers, Jerry Saylor, Robert Saylor, Julian Saylor; sisters, Randi Saylor, Lisa Saylor; and several nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends for visitation at Dalton Funeral Home from 5-8 PM Thursday, February 27, 2020. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Kelly Wayne Saylor will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Dowell & Martin Funeral Home (365 West Main St. Mt. Vernon, KY 40456). Interment will be at Saylor Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 6-9 PM on Friday evening at Dowell & Martin Funeral Home.
