Charles "Kenneth" Brown, age 71, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015. He was born February 22, 1944. Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Yvonne Brown; daughter, Lavonda Gentry; and his parents, Homer Cline Brown and Leola Pratt Crider. Kenneth is survived by his son, Ken Brown JR of Dalton; daughters and sons in law, Cortney and Jason Earwood of Dalton, Tiffany and Lee Dillard of California, Stephanie and Garry Seay of Dalton; brothers and sisters in law, Travis and Jett Brown of Dalton, Ronnie and Shirley Brown of Dalton, Harold and Lora Mae Brown of Dalton, Tommy Joe Brown of Dalton, Robby Brown of Dalton, Preston Brown of Dalton, Jesse and Debra Crider of Rome, Steve and Selena Crider of Ohio; sisters and brother in law, Linda Leola and Wayne Thackston of Cartersville, Flo McDaniel of Cartersville, Shirley Brown Evans of Cartersville; grandchildren, Mitch and Morgan Brown, Kaitlyn Brown of Dalton, Gavin Lambert of Dalton, Cassidy Lambert of Dalton, McKinsey Earwood of Dalton, Logan Earwood of Dalton, Bentley Dillard of California, Greyson Dillard of California; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Charles "Kenneth" Brown will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Charlie Pratt officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
