Kenneth Lee Hawkins was born August 13, 1991, he is age 31. His parents are Jeff and Gina Hawkins, he departed this life April 24, 2023 in the early hours of the morning in Murray County in a motor vehicle accident. He was born at Hamilton Medical Center and grew up in the Dawnville community. He is survived by his brother, Clifford Daniel Hawkins; sisters, Cynthia Allgood and her husband Josh, Brittany DeSha Dunn. Kenneth Loved his family and friends fiercely. We are so blessed to be his parents. Kenneth never met a stranger and would go above and beyond to help anyone in need. He loved working on lawn mowers and anything mechanical. He won blue ribbons in 4H for mechanical technology. He graduated from the Career Academy in 2010 and studied Automotive Technology at GNTC. He started working at Brooker Ford while he was still in high school, he worked there for several years before he went to work in the family Auto Business doing mechanical work. Kenneth has numerous awards, medals and certifications, is ASE certified. He currently operated his own garage known as Blue Oval Automotive and Performance. A lot of people know Kenneth as "The Mustang Man". He loved Ford Mustangs, drag racing, restoring classic cars, Deer and Turkey hunting, fishing and of course working on any cars. Kenneth was saved and baptized at Good Hope Baptist when he was a teen, it brings me great comfort to have that assurance, but he is sorely missed here on earth. Alife not fully lived, but only God knows how long we have on this old earth. It is going to be hard doing the rest of our lives here without him. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Kenneth Lee Hawkins will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Sister Susan Tankersley officiating. Interment will be at Dawnville Community Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 10:00 AM- 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
