He was preceded by his parents Monroe and Betty Wilkins; grandparents, Lena and Clifford Townsend. He is survived by his; son, Kenneth (Wendy) Townsend Jr. of Chatsworth, GA; daughter, Monica (Joshua) Rood of Chatsworth, GA; loving fiancé, Julie Mulkey of Chatsworth, GA; brothers, Ricky Wilkins and Rodney Wilkins of Tunnel Hill, GA; Mother of his children, Jamie Gann of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandchildren, Dustin Rood, Bella Riffe, Tyler Rood, Adam Long and Jasmin Price; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Kenneth "Old Man" Ray Townsend Sr will be held at 7:00 Thursday April 7, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.
