Landyn Blake Dickson, age 11 of Dalton, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. He was born on October 1, 2011. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Dewayne Brown; grandmother, Teresa Martin. Landyn loved music, singing and when he played softball at Miracle Field. He loved going to school and his favorite teacher was Stephanie Bunch. He also enjoyed going to church at Temple Baptist Church. He is survived by his father, Matthew Blake Dickson and his mother, Stephanie Ann Crawford Dickson; grandmother, Terri Franklin Brown; grandfather, David Dickson; uncles, Brandon Reese and wife Jessica, Darrel Dickson; aunts, Valerie Bruce and partner Ricky, Britney Franklin and partner Aaron, Raven Alean and husband Brandon; cousins, Deekin, Haylee, Hunter, Jesse, Sophia, Naomi, Aiden, Emma, Vincent. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Landyn Blake Dickson will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Brit Yeager officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
