Larry Dempsey, age 73, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024. He was born November 2, 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Williams Dempsey and Eliza Cronan Dempsey; brothers, Junior (Maggie) Dempsey, Jack Dempsey; sister, Wilma (Bennie) Cantrell; grandchild, J.J. Dempsey. He is survived by his sons, John Dempsey, Cory Day; daughters, Brittany (Chad) McEntire, Jennie (Justin) Hare; grandchildren, Paige Dempsey, Chadwick McEntire, Robert McEntire, Harper McEntire, Lele Hare, Marshall Hare. The committal service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
